Competitions & Results

Rubies Dance Centre take part in competitions all year round, We are members of the SUPADANCE southern league and regularly compete at the team match days . We also take part in the IDTA Nationwide finalist of the year, which is a favorite for our pupils as you have to compete for the chance to dance at Blackpool the same place that the world champions dance at. We support many other competitions like the NATD London and Anglian area medalist festivals. We also do many other competitions which are great fun and a great way to meet new people.

Most people Rubies speak to think they can't do competitions as they are only beginners or they are too old or too young, but nothing could be further from the truth. Anyone can do competitions Rubies Dance centre has many beginners of all ages and even has our oldest competitor of 77 years young still competing to our very youngest of 4 years old just starting to compete. All levels from the absolute beginner to the very advanced can do competitions and love the experience and friendships this brings.

You have seen how they do it on Strictly Come Dancing now come have a go for yourself it is great fun.
