Rubies Dance Centre is a leading IDTA and NATD-accredited dance school specialising in Ballroom & Latin American Dance, Salsa, Street, Freestyle, and Rock n’ Roll. We offer dance training of the highest calibre at all levels, ranging from complete beginners to advanced and professional levels. We cater to each individual student’s needs to provide proper technique and instil a love of dance. Our all-encompassing approach provides a friendly social atmosphere that also yields high results.

Entering our third year of operation, Rubies Dance Centre has rapidly established itself as one of the most successful dance schools in the South East area. Within the past year alone, we have won the IDTA ballroom and Latin trophies for the South East area, the NATD school trophy, and the NATD Anglian area team award. With over thirty students qualified for the IDTA Finals in next April, we anticipate to continue the high level of success that characterizes the Rubies experience.

Mr. Neil Kelly is the founder and principal of Rubies Dance Centre. Neil has over 30 years of dance experience, and is a former competitor who reached an extremely high level on the open circuit as both an amateur and professional competitor. Qualified to teach with both the IDTA and NATD, Neil has over 17 years of teaching experience. Mr. Neil Kelly also coaches the highly successful collegiate Dancesport teams at both Oxford University and Royal Holloway, University of London. With Neil’s assistance, Oxford University won the regional, national, and varsity titles in 2010, and Royal Holloway finished in 17th place. Rubies Dance Centre is also a proud sponsor of the Royal Holloway dance team.
